New Church theology and teachings emphasize the importance of service to others – sometimes called the Doctrine of Use (or Usefulness). It is through service that we connect with the Lord, and experience true happiness.
“The only source of anyone’s true happiness is doing something useful.” (True Christianity 735:5)
With such an emphasis on service, and loving the neighbor, an important function of our church is to provide a place for everyone to contribute and to make a difference.
