We have a wide variety of programs of various kinds: reading programs, spiritual growth programs, small group opportunities, etc. Some programs are online programs for individuals; others are for meeting with other people. There's something for everyone.
Online reading programs
The Lord’s Word helps us most when we read it every day. When we read it daily we will find that we more easily understand what it says. Reading the Word is more a matter of the heart than the head. By showing up at the pages every day we open our heart to the Lord.
These classes are for everyone who wants to explore God's Word and explore what it means to live according to its teachings.
The Bryn Athyn pastoral staff would like to help you in turning to the Lord every day. Here are opportunities for you to get involved:
We provide booklets of readings at various times of the year, such as before Christmas, Easter and New Church Day. You can pick them up at the Pastors’ Office or at the Cathedral when they become available a few weeks before the festival. You can sign up to get the Christmas readings daily by email.
Small group reading programs
There are a number of small groups that meet regularly to learn about and discuss the Word of God for various age groups, group sizes, and in various types of locations.
Wednesdays 10-10:45 a.m. A class on some topic from the Word.
Come read the writings and make a meal together. Casual. Contact Nathan Odhner.
There are quite a number of other groups that are meeting at the moment.
If you are interested in finding a group but these times to do not work for you, contact Erik Buss to see if there is room in any of the existing groups.
