Enjoy a memorable evening of inspiring readings and music from Bryn Athyn Cathedral’s magnificent organs.

Wednesday, July 10, 7:30 pm - Rev. Clark Echols, Organist: Leah Martin
Rev. Clark Echols will offer readings on the theme "Connecting with others and with the Lord," and Leah Martin will play a selection of favorite organ pieces including Elgar’s well-loved “Nimrod" and selections from Saint-Saëns’ masterpiece, the “Organ Symphony" (with Jennifer Cole on cymbals!). Sarah Martin will play Elizondo's uplifting "The Dawn of Hope" on cello, and she'll be joined by Nathan Odhner on French horn for Bizet's "Pearl Fishers' duet.” Robin Bier will join Leah for a beautiful piano/organ duet by Shostakovich, and Robin and Graham Bier will perform songs by Handel (with trumpet) and Purcell respectively.

Mark your calendars for our Sunset Organ Vespers at the Bryn Athyn Cathedral. Each service includes spiritual readings accompanied by music from guest organists and musicians.

These Vesper Services last an hour and are suitable for ages 12 and up.  Younger families are welcome to listen quietly outdoors or Social Hall viewing area.

Note that doors open at 7:10pm (no preludes) and entrance to the Nave will be restricted after 7:30pm.  Please allow sufficient time to find a parking spot.
