Thanksgiving Day Service 2024

We welcome everyone to worship together for this holiday of gratitude. In keeping with the religious tradition of freewill offering, everyone is invited to bring an offering (fruit, root vegetables, winter squash) for the procession during the service. Those with limited mobility or with a preference may bring their offerings to the chancel before the service begins.

After the service, the fruit offerings are sorted into gift baskets. These baskets will be distributed to people in our community who have recently lost a loved one and to various food banks, shelters, and senior centers.

NOTE: If you are not able to attend the Thanksgiving Service, but want to bring a fruit offering, please drop it off at the Field House Thursday morning before the service.

Van Shuttles

With the help of our wonderful volunteers, we are able to offer van shuttles to transport attendees to and from remote parking around Bryn Athyn. The van shuttles will pick up from Pitcairn Hall, Mitchell Performing Arts Center, and the Society Building. Please see the map for the exact parking locations highlighted in green. There will be continuous pick-ups starting at 10:00 am and drop-offs after the service.
For Cairnwood Village residents, shuttle pick-up times are 9:45, 10:00, and 10:15 am.
