December 23, 3:30 pm, Young Children’s Special Christmas Eve Service (cathedral grounds)
On the day before Christmas Eve, we will have a short children’s outdoor Christmas worship service on the grounds of the Cathedral near the main parking lot. Keep warm by the fire pits. A choir will lead us in singing. As part of the worship, we will follow real shepherds along with their sheep to a manger where a newborn baby will be with Mary and Joseph. Masks are not required. Children will receive a small gift to take home and they can pet the animals after worship.
NOTE: This event is weather-permitting and if it is cancelled, we will post an update on our website and on Facebook.
December 24, 4:00pm/5:30pm/7:00pm, Christmas Eve Services (cathedral)
"The Infant Lord" Picturing the Lord as a newborn infant touches our heart in a tender, precious way and for a very special purpose.
NOTE: We respectfully ask that you wear a mask indoors at this service so that we may have the largest gathering possible worshipping together.
December 25, 11:30 am: Adult Christmas Service (cathedral)
“Led by the Holy Spirit” (Luke 2:25) Simeon was led by the Holy Spirit to the Temple where he had the blessed opportunity to see the Baby Jesus. We too are led by the Holy Spirit, in more ways that we can imagine, and are invited to that same sense of wonder and praise.
