Family Festival Services on Christmas Eve
Saturday, December 24, 2022: 4:00, 5:30, 7:00 pm at the Bryn Athyn Cathedral
"Keeping Watch"- Rev. Derek Elphick
The peace and goodwill of Christmas requires a shepherding instinct of “looking out” for our loved ones, friends and neighbors, of staying alert and awake to their needs.
There will be about 20 minutes' worth of preludes before each service ending with a soprano soloist just before the service starts. There is a handbell choir in the balcony that will play preludes, interlude, and postlude. The congregation will also sing five hymns.

“The Greatest Gift” (A Christmas sermon)- Rt. Rev. David Lindrooth
Perhaps the greatest gift the Lord gave us was the knowledge that all good and all truth, as well as all evil and falsity do not originate in ourselves. To the degree that we realize that they are not ours, and that we do not own them we become happy.
