Choosing Life with Kevin Hines

A Tools 4 Life and Finding Hope Collaborative Offering:

You are invited to join us for an offering with Kevin Hines at the Mitchell Performing Arts Center on July 1 at 7 pm. Kevin Hines is an award-winning global speaker, best-selling author, documentary filmmaker, and suicide prevention and mental health advocate who has reached millions with his story of an unlikely survival and his strong will to live. Two years after he was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, he attempted to take his life by jumping from the Golden Gate Bridge. His compelling story has touched diverse, global audiences within educational and community organizations. Thousands have communicated to Hines that his story helped save their lives. His mantra: “Life is a gift, that is why they call it the present. Cherish it always.” Hine's evidence-based presentation will last 45-50 minutes. After a 15-minute refreshment intermission, those interested are invited to participate in a Q+A.

This offering is coordinated by Tools 4 Life and Bryn Athyn Church's Finding Hope team. Finding Hope's mission is to foster conversation and offer resources on hard topics including domestic violence, suicide, addiction, sexual abuse, and mental illness. In Finding Hope we are committed to expanding our capacity to be present with one another in difficult times. We are grateful to have Kevin Hines to teach us and support this path of development.

The cost of this event is $15 and scholarships are available. We prefer you reserve a general admission seat via the link below. Depending on availability, walk-ins will be accepted. After registering you will receive a confirmation email.
