Sunday, September 10, 7:30 pm - Rev. John Odhner & Guest organist: Mark Loria - Live stream this service. 
Rev. John Odhner will offer readings, and Mark Loria will be our organist. From Bach’s beloved Schmücke dich, to blues-influenced harmonies of African-American composers, Mark has selected gorgeous meditative pieces that demonstrate the wide variety of colors on the organ. Included in this program is “Prayer for Peace” by Alejandro Consolacion in commemoration of lives lost in Ukraine. Other composers featured are Dupré, Duruflé, James Biery, George Walker, Florence Price, Jeanne Demessieux, and Amy Summers.

General Information

Mark your calendars for our Sunset Organ Vespers at the Bryn Athyn Cathedral. Each service includes spiritual readings accompanied by music from guest organists and musicians.

These Vesper Services last an hour and are suitable for ages 12 and up.  Younger families are welcome to listen quietly outdoors.

Note that doors open at 7:10pm (no preludes) and entrance to the Nave will be restricted after 7:30pm.  Please allow sufficient time to find a parking spot.

The Cathedral grounds will open at 6:30pm for self-guided smartphone tours of the gardens.
