About This Group
The goal of this group is to have a chance to discuss doctrine and application and have a good time with other young adults (aged 21 to 40) who have a desire to learn from the Lord and follow Him.
Current Series: The Gospel of Mark
This time, instead of studying a book of the Heavenly Doctrine, we're going to study the Gospel of Mark. We'll dig into it a couple of chapters at a time.
You don't have to commit to come to all of the classes. You can just come to one of them to try it out.
There will be extra copies of the Word available for people to use during the class, and you can bring your own if you'd prefer.
These classes will just be in-person.
Timing & Location
Instead of weekly Saturday mornings we're going to try monthly Tuesday evenings. The first meeting will be Tuesday, April 14 from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. in the Church Office (600 Tomlinson Rd.). After that we will meet on May 12th and June 9th. We will then make a plan with those who are coming as to whether to continue during the summer or wait for the fall.
Because we're only meeting monthly (instead of weekly), we're going to try meeting for an hour and a half instead of one hour.
Spring 2026 Reading/Topic Schedule
You are encouraged (but not required) to do the reading listed by each date before the class on that date.
- April 14 - Mark 1-2
- May 12 - Mark 3-4
- June 9 - Mark 5-6
