APRIL PASTOR’S COUNCIL NOTES
The Pastor’s Council met April 12. There was huge appreciation for the Easter scenes and also a wish for an Easter church service with the beloved Easter songs. It was also acknowledged that the scenes were not accessible for a person in a wheelchair. Another issue that was raised was visitors walking at the Cathedral overlapping with Sunday or special services. The Cathedral staff is well aware of trying to prevent this and there are signs posted to hopefully stop these visitors, but they don’t. While we usually have someone stopping visitors coming in the entrance to the lower parking lot there are also two other approaches including the path up from Quarry Road that regularly have people entering the grounds. A council member wondered if there might be volunteers willing to monitor all the entries to the Cathedral grounds, especially during special services.
