Visiting Friends and Stephen Ministry

Bryn Athyn Church has many ways of supporting people throughout the cycles of their lives.

    • For people who are lonely or housebound, we have Visiting Friends, which provides informal occasional visits.
    • For those who are facing difficult times in life, we have Stephen Ministry. This is a confidential one-on-one, lay Christian care in which the person and a Stephen Minister meet for about an hour a week, for as many months as the care receiver needs the support. This is a more regular, formal caring relationship.
    • When you or a loved one is facing a spiritual challenge or needs pastoral counsel or support, please contact the Pastors Office (215-947-6225) to request a pastoral visit from any of the Bryn Athyn Church pastors. The pastors like to visit people who are in the hospital, in crisis or just needing pastoral support, but they may not know of your need if you do not ask.

If you would like to get involved in serving, or be served by these programs, please contact Nina Dewees at or 215-947-6225 x206.
