Donations Still Accepted For Bryn Athyn Fireworks Display

Many thanks to the following volunteers for giving our community a spectactular 4th of July: Brian Cooper for organizing the flagpole ceremony, arranging a speaker, and races; the Bryn Athyn Boy Scouts and their leaders for the wonderful display of our country’s flag along our roads; Brent McCurdy and family, and his team of volunteers for the wonderful fireworks display despite the rain; and the countless other volunteers who helped with all the events.

Donations are still being accepted for the 4th of July fireworks. The fireworks display is 100% funded by donations. Help keep the show running every year. Send donations to Bryn Athyn Borough, POB 683, Bryn Athyn, PA 19009. Please make the check payable to “BA Borough” and note fireworks on the memo.
NOTE: Donations collected for the fireworks display yesterday fell short by about 30%. A major factor was the wet weather which prevented many people from coming. The fireworks display is 100% funded by donations. If donations keep falling short every year, the community will have to find other ways to raise funds to keep the fireworks display going each year. Donations are still being accepted.  Send a check made payable to Bryn Athyn Borough and note that it’s for BA fireworks, and drop off or mail to Boro Hall, POB 683, BA, PA  19009.
