Build a Dragon and Build Our Community

Over spring break (March 9 through 15) we have hired the renowned team at the ProcessionalArtsWorkshop.com (NY) to come to our town and show us how they build the huge structures/creatures they go around the world making. We have been in consultation with them about how to make a huge, Biblical, 7-headed dragon for our New Church Day Pageant. They will bring the plans and the equipment, and they will show teams of builders how to do this, just like they’ve done for other towns sprinkled all around the globe. (Check their website.)

This is a collaborative and community-building moment, aimed at adults, but also very much open to children if they are accompanied by a parent. You need not be an artist to enjoy this immensely. All ages can gather and roll up their sleeves and work with these master artists. Donors are making this happen, so it is FREE! We will be working out of the MPAC workshop, and you can sign up for as many sessions, or as few, as you like. Dates: March 9 through March 15. Times: weekends 12pm to 3pm, or 3pm to 6pm; weekdays 2 to 5pm, or 5 to 8pm. Limited spaces available. Phone or text Ann Buss 215 510 0069, or Dorothy Brown 215 704 2404.
