Sunset Organ Vespers

For our worship services at the Bryn Athyn Cathedral, based on current guidelines, we recommend face coverings for unvaccinated and vaccinated guests indoors or in crowded areas outside. Our staff members who are on duty are being asked to wear face coverings indoors.

Next Service: Sunday 9/12/21
Save the date for our final Sunset Organ Vespers of the season when Rev. Derek Elphick will offer the readings and Dr. Kathleen Scheide will be on the organ bench. Kathleen has performed as an organ and early keyboard soloist throughout North America, the Caribbean, Europe, Russia, and the Far East. Her program consists of selections by
Bohm, Boëly, Dupré, Töpfer, and von Paradis and includes Sowerby's beautiful Carillon. Thematic melodies will be sung by Dr. Graham Bier. The vespers is suitable for ages 12 and up and those with younger children are welcome to listen on the east lawn.
NOTE: Kathleen was one of Leah Martin's early organ teachers.
