Please join us as we focus on increasing our capacity to be present with each other in hard times by building awareness around trauma, suicide, addiction, domestic violence, abuse, and mental illness. We might be facing one of these areas personally, we might be supporting someone who is impacted. For this fourth year, Bryn Athyn Church, together with Gloria Dei Church, NewChurch LIVE, Abington-Jefferson Health, and Growth Opportunity Center will continue to explore ways to offer hope, resources, and connection.

Immediately following the Finding Hope 2019 event (at 1:00 pm), there will be an opportunity to participate in an OUT OF DARKNESS WALK together with friends and collaborators from Lower Moreland High School. This walk will conclude with a Finding Hope tree planting ceremony at Lower Moreland High School. The Out of Darkness Community Walk is coordinated with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Walks are held in hundreds of cities across the country. They give people the courage to open up about their own struggle or loss, and the platform to change our culture’s approach to mental health. You are welcome to participate in both the morning and afternoon events or just participate in the walk.
