Priest: I will lift up my eyes to the mountains—from whence comes my help?
People: My help is from the Lord, who made the heavens and the earth.

Minister’s prayer followed by the Lord’s Prayer.
Our Father, who art in the heavens, hallowed be Thy Name. Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done, as in heaven so upon the earth.  Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts as we also forgive our debtors.  And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever.  Amen.

Priest: O Lord, forgive us our trespasses.
People: As we forgive those who trespass against us.
Priest: Amen.

Very early in the morning, on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb when the sun had risen…. And entering the tomb, they saw a young man clothed in a long white robe sitting on the right side; and they were alarmed. But he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him.” Mark 16:2–6
