SUMMARY:Young Children's Service - Holy Supper
DESCRIPTION:This short and sweet service is only in person and is for families with young children (though children of all ages are welcome). It is held in the Council Chamber or Undercroft or outside (during warmer months) at the Bryn Athyn Cathedral. \nThis Sunday’s service will include the Holy Supper. Bread\, wine\, gluten-free bread\, and grape juice will be offered. “Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the lamb.” \nWhen the minister approaches the Supper table during the service\, kids will be invited to come watch as the elements are prepared. After the elements are prepared\, children will be informed that\, during the service\, they will watch parents taking the Holy Supper\, but they will get to try Holy Supper bread and grape juice during snack time. Individual families will be blessed all together with both parents and kids. \nThis service really is geared toward the parents because we thought it important to take just a couple services each year to serve you specifically and it’s nice that the children get to observe the service up close and personal.
