DESCRIPTION:Doors open at 7:10 pm\nWednesday\, August 19\, 7:30 pm: Aaron Patterson on organ\nMr. Patterson has been in demand as an organist from a young age and is a graduate of the Julliard School and Curtis Institute of Music.  He currently serves as organist/music associate at First Presbyterian Church in Jackson\, MS\, but is originally from this area and serves as an assistant recitalist at the Wanamaker Grand Court.\n\n  \nThis is the final Sunset Organ Vespers of 2026.  Our next Choral Vespers will be a Lessons and Carols on December 5th.

DESCRIPTION:Community Worship Services offer a chance to gather for worship\, reflection\, and connection as a community. There is one service on this Sunday\, beginning at 10:00 a.m.\, and you may want to arrive a bit early to find parking and a seat. (There is no Informal\, Young Children’s or Adult service on this date.) \nEarly in the service\, children are invited forward for a children’s talk. Following this\, they can head to the south end of the building to take part in a variety of supervised activities which vary by season. Children ages 5 and up will be invited to go to specific areas based on their age group\, with the understanding that they will picked up afterward by their parent or guardian. Children younger than 5 are also welcome to participate\, provided a parent or responsible family member stays with them. \nAfter the service\, families are invited to gather for refreshments in the Social Hall\, outside the cloister\, or by the porte cochère—a great opportunity to connect and enjoy time together. \n  \n  \nZoom Discussion\nPlease join us on Zoom for an online small-group discussion of this Sunday’s Community Worship Service. This discussion is hosted by the team that regularly meets on Sundays to discuss the Informal Family Service. Feel free to join this meeting at any time between 11:30 and 12:30 on Sunday.
