SUMMARY:Community Worship
DESCRIPTION:Community Worship Services offer a chance to gather for worship\, reflection\, and connection as a community. There is one service on this Sunday\, beginning at 10:00 a.m.\, and you may want to arrive a bit early to find parking and a seat. (There is no Informal\, Young Children’s or Adult service on this date.) \nEarly in the service\, children are invited forward for a children’s talk. Following this\, they can head to the south end of the building to take part in a variety of supervised activities which vary by season. Children ages 5 and up will be invited to go to specific areas based on their age group\, with the understanding that they will picked up afterward by their parent or guardian. Children younger than 5 are also welcome to participate\, provided a parent or responsible family member stays with them. \nAfter the service\, families are invited to gather for refreshments in the Social Hall\, outside the cloister\, or by the porte cochère—a great opportunity to connect and enjoy time together. \n \n  \nZoom Discussion\nPlease join us on Zoom for an online small-group discussion of this Sunday’s Community Worship Service. This discussion is hosted by the team that regularly meets on Sundays to discuss the Informal Family Service. Feel free to join this meeting at any time between 11:30 and 12:30 on Sunday. All are welcome.\nJoin the meeting. \n \n  \n  \n  \n\nLearn more about our Community Worship Service or view our other service offerings.

SUMMARY:Four Gospels Seminar: Mark
DESCRIPTION:The Gospel of Mark\nRev. Scott Frazier\nIn Revelation 11 we read that the two witnesses “will prophesy 1\,260 days” and Apocalypse Revealed 491 explains that this means “an acknowledgment of the Lord and a life in accordance with the Ten Commandments\, which are the two essential elements of the New Church\, must be taught until the end and a new beginning [of the church].” We have a responsibility to teach these two essential elements of the church. Last year we focused on the Ten Commandments; this year it seems right to focus on acknowledgment of the Lord Jesus Christ. What better place to do that than the four gospels? We hope that you’ll join us and that\, by the end of the year\, you will have grown in your understanding and love of the Lord. \nSign Up to Receive Email Updates\nThere is no need to register\, but we will be sending out occasional email updates about this program — reminders about upcoming seminars\, when recordings or new resources are available\, etc. Complete the form below to sign up for email updates:
