Derek Elphick)\nIn our first service in September 2022\, the theme of the day was how the Lord gathers His flock\, and we considered some of the reasons why we\, as a church community\, might feel scattered and lost. In our second service in October we talked about re-building that which was lost and what that might look like in our own lives and collectively as a community. This service concludes this opening three-part series by considering the future. What are the Lord’s plans for us as individuals and collectively as a church community? We warmly welcome moms of any age (babies and toddlers welcome) to join a seven-week Journey Series with other moms to discuss and practice making changes to become a better you\, with the Lord’s help. Using Sasha Silverman and Rev. Malcolm Smith’s book Shift\, we will explore the Bible story of the life of Jacob to see what we can learn and apply about making small shifts to see big differences in our daily and eternal lives. Last winter we had a vibrant moms’ Journey group about Practicing Mindfulness\, and this connection helped many of us to better survive the challenges of winter. Won’t you join us this season?
