Both beginner and advanced classes are available\, so don’t waitto book your spot! \nGoose Egg Class Description: Pysanky isn’t just forchicken eggs – have some fun learning to write on a goose egg. A class designwill be provided or bring your own. The materials fee includes one goose eggthat has been emptied and cleaned\, plus a large assortment of dye colors. Thisworkshop is for those who are familiar with the pysanky process and is notsuitable for those who have never dyed eggs in this fashion. SUMMARY:Rise Above It Monthly Meeting
DESCRIPTION:A 10-month program that will take you deeper into the joy of living the 10 commandments. \nWould you like to improve your life? Your relationships? Are you ready for some breakthroughs? If so\, we’ve got good news for you! \nBryn Athyn Church will be focusing on the Ten Commandments this school year in several of our worship services and special events. A significant part of this focus will be inviting you to join large and small groups to study and practice the Ten Commandments using the book “Rise Above It.” We are thrilled to have the authors Rev. Ray and Star Silverman leading this effort! \nThis program will continue throughout the school year\, meeting once monthly\, with all the small groups together. Ray and Star will present the information and lead us through the activities\, while participants sit with their group for discussion and to complete the tasks. Small groups can be a rotating collection of people\, or you can sign up with a specific leader or with your ready-made group of eight. Groups have the option to meet with just themselves partway through the month for discussion\, inspiration\, and community building. \nHere is a little more information about Rev. Ray and Star Silverman’s book: \nIf you want to enter into life – a joyful\, peaceful\, vibrant\, and deeply spiritual life – the path is simple: believe in God and keep the commandments. Sometimes\, however\, this is easier said than done. \nThis book explores each of the Ten Commandments and demonstrates how we can apply them in our daily lives. Drawing from different sacred texts\, including the Writings of Emanuel Swedenborg\, this book shows how\, by living a life according to the commandments\, we can be happier here on earth and continue into the next life. \nFilled with candid and inspiring journal entries from seminar participants\, and enriched by the teachings of the great religions\, this book invites you to enter into a life of ever-increasing love\, wisdom\, and service. \nVisit www.brynathynchurch.org/riseaboveit to learn more about the program.

DESCRIPTION:Come to the Asplundh Assembly Hall on March 3 and 5 at 7:00 pm to watch the 8th Grade class production of Aladdin! We guarantee it will be the best 8th Grade play you’ve ever seen in this building’s history!  \nAll the props and backgrounds are handmade by the students themselves.  \nThe show is completely free to watch\, but donations are gratefully accepted.  \nOne of Aladdin’s wishes is for you to come watch the show; you have the power of a genie to make his wish come true.
